Forthcoming website developments for 2009-2010 include:
- FAQs - a lively Question and Answer section covering a range of moral and educational ‘hot topics’ – including assemblies, prayer in school, sex education and Halloween.
- Students – a special section focusing on the needs of student teachers.
- Movie Reviews - similar to the current Resource Reviews section but focusing on films with strong educational themes, e.g. To Sir With Love, Freedom Writers, Dangerous Minds, Blackboard Jungle.
- an online forum or discussion board for sharing experiences, discussing ideas and giving encouragement
- live, weekly, themed Q&A (Question and Answer) sessions with ACT staff and invited guests
- pod-casts and v-casts of keynote addresses made at ACT conferences
- photo galleries of local ACT events and national conferences
- Hallowe’en in Schools by Richard Wilkins – available as a free download
- Your Turn to Take Assembly by Howard Cunnington – available as a free download
Please note: once the Members' Area is up and running certain features that are currently free-to-view (e.g. ACT Now and News & Comments) will be restricted to ACT Members only.
